Our Pendik district is a point that it connects İstanbul to Anatolia, important projects are actualized in recent years, commercial and economic activities are very active. Our district is a settlement area taking continuous migration and so population increase rate is the highest one and thus, employment need increases permanently. Large and small thousands of workplaces and big industrial enterprises are found in our district. According to official records, approximate 25000 tax payers, around 7000 trader registered to İTO, industrial plants more than 400 are present. Our district having such a high commercial and economical potential could not form a structure that Industrialists and Businessmen can convene and become organized for long years. Considering this need, PESİAD (Pendik Industrialists and Businessmen Association) have been established through coming together with leading Industrialists and businessmen of our district at the end of 2005.

PESİAD has grabbed big interest of business world of our district from its establishment and has become a significant non governmental organization of our district by increasing its member number in short time. We have executed very important activities successively in accordance with the mission we have undertaken, establishment objective. We have pieced together many important guests with our members within this context and in this way, contributed both publicity of our district and development of the social and cultural relations of our members each other. In addition, we have also contributed to the development of our members with training activities and seminars intended for their needs. We have started our studies to gain a new a modern service building to our association that we carry out our studies with limited physical possibilities initially and opened our this building early 2010. With our existing building, its club with the purpose of developing social relations, management units, coffee-restaurant open to public and 100 person- modern conference hall; it has been gained to our district as a new symbol. I thank our members and my friends, members of the board giving big support us for realization of this work.

PESİAD has the target of putting its signature to bigger activities and services in next period with this new service building. We have wish and desire to bring together our respected and elegant guests with our members in the direction of reaching this target.
